America's Oil Dependency: Can it be fixed? »
Even though at this point America doesn't have much of an option whether or not to buy foreign oil due to the amount of oil we use every day, the United States should find alternative ways to supply the country with oil rather than using foreign sources. This is due to the fact that most of the nation's money for imported fuel is going to an area which is mainly unstable and has a history of violence against the U.S. Also finding alternative energy sources such as ethanol to reduce the import of expensive foreign oil and keeping the nation’s economy strong by producing our own energy sources.
